About The Farm

The Fritz Farm is a working southern Georgia farm, boasting more than 250 mature pecan trees on over 22 sprawling acres of farmland. From the beautiful pecan orchards to the historic barns, The Fritz Farm is the perfect “rustic elegance” backdrop for your wedding or event. The property has been in the Dockweiler family since 1923, and was inherited by beloved family member “Uncle Fritz” in 1937. Paige Dockweiler purchased the property in 2010 and along with property manager Amy Brown, turned Fritz Farm into the spectacular event venue it is today. In late 2018, Denise Spradley, purchased the farm. Check the events page to see what’s coming soon to the farm.

The Fritz Farm has two 1940’s era barns built by Uncle Fritz. The main barn is fully equipped with heat/air and a kitchen and bar area, while the iconic hay barn serves as a beautiful ceremony backdrop. The property also features a spectacular covered pavilion with a hanging chandelier, bar area, a fire pit surrounded by swings, 3 restrooms for guests, and lofted guest quarters for up to 6 people. The peaceful bungalow features a glamorous vanity mirror and makeup station, a private full bath, and sleeping accommodations for up to 4 guests. A perfect retreat for your bridal party to get dresses and relax prior to the ceremony!

The Fritz Farm also features a few newer additions including a pole barn, pond with lighted fountain, and greenhouse. The pole barn is 3000 square feet of covered, comfortable shelter – perfect for musical performances, gatherings, and dancing. The pond and greenhouse offer an eclectic, vintage backdrop for a one-of-a-kind farm venue experience.
